Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival is being live streamed
Footage of April 20-22 events will mark the first time a Canadian music and sports festival is live-streamed
The Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival, taking place until April 22 in Whistler B.C., is wrapping up its last three days of events after a successful week of shredding, live music, parties, and even some arts and culture. For those not able to attend the festival in person, the WSSF’s YouTube page has been continuously updated with daily clips from the festival. As they gear up for the last three days of snow-filled fun, the festival is set to live stream the final big events on YouTube.
The WSSF will be the first Canadian music and sports event to stream competition footage live. While viewers won’t be able to physically join in the apres party fun, this web streaming initiative will give a much wider audience direct access to experience the competition and final big concerts. Additionally, during the live stream, viewers can participate in a live chat using Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and YouTube.
Check out the WSSF’s YouTube page and tune into the following events:
- April 20 – Michael Fanti & Friends Concert
- April 21 – Big Air Championship Finals
- April 22 – The Sheepdogs Concert
