Small towns from coast-to-coast boast playgrounds of rushing rivers, sinuous single-track, craggy coastlines and languid lakes—sometimes right in town. These are ideal destinations for spring weekends, with laid-back locals, good eats and, most important, a plethora of multi-sport fun.
