Don’t want to work at another fast food franchise this Summer?

Then why not apply for the Ultimate Canadian Dream Job? Woods Canada is looking for two adventurous Canadians to explore the Trans-Canada Trail and share their adventure through social media—and use Woods gear along the way. So, if you think tackling the grueling, 24,000-km journey across Canada—from the West Coast to the East Coast—is better than serving burgers and fries, this is the  job for you.

Traverse our great country from Vancouver Island, to the northern extreme of the Mackenzie River, to the coast of Newfoundland—application deadline is April 17, 2015.

Applicants need to be enthusiastic, skilled in the outdoors (kayaking, canoeing, climbing backpacking, horseback riding), be avid social media contributors and have excellent public relation skills. Being bilingual would be a bonus.

The job is a five-month contract from May 12 to September 30. 2015, working six days per week during the duration of the trip. Payment is $20,000, plus expenses, accommodations and a $300 per week per diem for food/beverage and miscellaneous expenses. A bonus of $2,000 is also payable upon the completion of the journey—and you get a ton of Woods gear to test out.

Woods is a good fit for the sponsor. They’ve been around since 1885 and have a long-term passion towards supporting the Canadian outdoor experience. The main purpose of project is to encourage Canadians to get outside and explore the Canadian outdoors.
