Amyot Lake Trail Map

230 km from Saskatoon, nature-lovers come for the aspen groves and stay for the free-roaming bison.

Follow the lake’s edge before ducking into a swaying aspen forest and passing through sedge meadows. Views of the Sturgeon River Valley await, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of wild bison. After a 100-year absence, bison have been reintroduced to this place. This is one of the only areas in Canada where you’re likely to see free-roaming bison in their natural habitat.

This loop trail laces the lake as a part of the West Side Trail.
