Kicking off October 30 in Banff, this anticipated annual event features more than 80 events including many free events, exhibitions, workshops and more. This year marks the event’s 40th anniversary—don’t miss out!

The Festival happens over nine days each fall and features stories of profound journeys, unexpected adventures and ground-breaking expeditions told by renowned authors, photographers, adventurers and filmmakers from around the globe. Days after the Festival, the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival World Tour launches, bringing films to fans in over 40 countries.
