Canoeists are not dinosaurs

I had someone tell me last week that canoe enthusiasts are dinosaurs. He said that the art and joy of wilderness canoe tripping is left only for old people and that the youth of today could care less about wilderness travel. Well, he’s dead wrong! The statistics show that more and more people are choosing to paddle a canoe in wild areas. And for proof to show how enthusiastic they are about it, check out this video I found on one of the latest extensive Camp Wanapetie canoe trips.

….all is definitely not lost.
