Cross Country Skiing Through a Beautiful Canadian Forest

I’ll be honest—cross country skiing is not something I’m naturally good at. As a past snowboarder, it felt weird to have my legs separated on two skinny sticks. Still, I had so much fun exploring the trails on a beautiful weekday evening at Cypress Mountain Nordic Area!

The Nordic Area on Hollyburn Ridge is only 30 minutes away from Vancouver, BC. You can expect 19 kilometres of groomed cross country ski trails, including 7.5 kilometres of lit trails for night skiing.

Will I fall on my face or manage to explore the trails as a beginner cross country skier? Watch the video below to find out.
