Cycle Manitoulin Island

The quiet roads, gently rolling terrain and surrounding waters make Manitoulin the perfect cycling destination.

Sponsored by Ontario Tourism

With quiet roads, gently rolling terrain and the waters of Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and the North Channel surrounding it, Manitoulin Island has established itself as a bicycling destination. Gordon’s Park is a full-service home base from which to launch self-guided cycling tours. Highway 6 now features smooth shoulders that have been paved expressly for cyclists. It’s a main trunk line leading to out-of-the-way routes taking you through picturesque farmland, over creeks and along rivers as you explore the island. A variety of new bike-friendy services will keep you rolling across Manitoulin.
