You might think that wool is only for wintertime, but that is a myth. Wool has been used and developed for thousands of years. It rarely needs to be washed, unless it is visibly dirty, so it will outlast your synthetic gear by not needing to be tossed around in the laundry machine. When a Merino garment is finally done its lifespan, it can be composted as it is a natural fibre.�In addition, Merino wool is hypoallergenic.

Devold Merino Wool is ethically farmed. Through the robust Sheep to Shop program, they are able to trace the wool every step of the way to the final production of the garment so they know exactly what is in the final knit.

The Devold NIPA tee is softer than you might expect due to the 17.5-micron superfine wool fibres.�Flat seam construction makes it very comfortable to wear under a backpack, life jacket or a climbing harness. Made in Norway, the garment has natural resistance to microbial growth and odour retention, plus UV-protection varying from UPF 20 to 50+ depending on the density and colour of the fabric.
