Free Entrance to Quebec Parks for one day in September
If there’s anything better than a discount, it’s receiving something completely FREE. On September 7th, 2019, Quebec Parks are opening their gates and scratching their usual $8.75 entrance fee.
Over twenty parks will be offering free admission. Looking for some new areas to explore?
Parc national d’Aiguebelle, in western Quebec, features over 30 kilometres of hiking trails, plus several cabins and campsites to rent, kayaking and canoeing opportunities on stunning lakes and winter adventures for those who can’t make it in September.
In the east, you’ll find 25 peaks over 1,000 metres tall bursting out of Parc national de la Gaspésie. And, if you’re lucky, you might spot arctic-alpine plants, tundra landscape and herds of protected caribou that call this beautiful area home.
Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is Quebec’s largest, spanning a whooping 1,500 square-kilometres. It’s also the province’s oldest park. Paddle a winding river, join a guided tour or scale a rock face along the Via Ferrata du Diable.
We also want to encourage explorers to visit other parks in the province—especially those that are a little out of the way. If you’re ready for a real adventure, head up to Nunavik and visit Parc national des Pingualuit, Quebec’s first northern park.
