Haunted Woods/Balsam Hallow Trail Map
These two meandering trails appear in Lucy Maud Montgomery’s famous story, Anne of Green Gables. Start at Lover’s Lane and follow the brook through the forest. Then, wander towards the cemetery where L.M. Montgomery is buried.
On site, you can buy everything Anne, from souvenir postcards to hats featuring her signature red pigtail braids. Take a tour or explore the grounds on your own.
HOW TO GET TO THE HAUNTED WOODS/BALSAM HALLOW TRAIL
These trails are located on site at Green Gables Heritage Place. Site fees apply.
FROM CHARLOTTETOWN
Head north from Charlottetown on PE-236. Follow PE-2 North. Turn right onto PE-13 North and left onto Cavendish Road. The parking lot will be on your left.
