Speaking at Whitby Library Thursday night
Thought you’d want to know that I’m giving a presentation this Thurssay night at the Whitby, Ontario Public Library. I’ll be adding a few new routes to the talk and misadventures from this past season.

Description: Join Kevin Callan, one of Canada’s most renowned canoe authors, speakers and enthusiasts as he discusses his newest book Wilderness Pleasures: A Practical Guide to Camping Bliss. This book looks at why people love the wilderness and how everyone from rugged canoe-trippers to family car-campers can derive more enjoyment from their time outdoors.
Kevin is the author of 12 books including a popular series of paddling guides. For the last 17 years he has taught Environmental Issues and Sciences at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough.
Kevin will also discuss Native canoe routes he has recently paddled. Kevin’s books will be available for purchase and signing. Registration required.
