Take Me Outside Day – October 25
Tuesday October 25, 2011 has officially been dubbed ‘Take Me Outside Day’, and for good reason.
As I blogged about earlier in the month, Colin Harris of *Take Me Outside* is running across Canada, visiting with students and teacher’s along the way and encouraging youth to get outside, get active and to reconnect with nature.
On October 25, 2011, Colin will be completing his final marathon and reaching Vancouver, British Columbia.
Know any teachers? Encourage them to share Colin’s story and help celebrate his amazing accomplishment by spending some time outside of the traditional 4-wall classroom on Tuesday.
