Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival Dates & Speakers
Vancouverites, mark February 8 to 17 on your calendar — the 16th Annual Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) is coming to town! (Keep reading to find out how to win two tickets.)
The finalist films and guest speakers have been announced, and when it comes to mountain films, if you name, they’ve got it! These 67 finalist films are accompanied by 20 guest speakers during 25 programs running Feb 8 to 17 at Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver, Rio Theatre in East Vancouver, and Pacific Cinematheque Downtown.
This year’s program is the biggest ever! VIMFF 2013 has four ski shows, four climbing shows, two mountain biking shows, four matinees (new!), four Mountaineering shows, and shows on Big Air, Trail Running, Sea Kayaking, Environment, the Himalaya, Wolves, White Water, Great Traverses, Reel Rock 7. Also ( new this year) — you’re invited to the wrap party.
