The Happy Camper: Show Me Your Paddle

A few weeks ago, I launched The Happy Camper Paddle through Badger Paddles. This created a great way for me to give back to the canoe community. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these paddles goes to Project Canoe, a Toronto-based foundation I’ve always loved to support. Project Canoe provides youth the opportunity to build self-esteem, self-awareness and self-love through the power of educational and therapeutic outdoor programming.

To add to the paddle production and hopefully boost more donations for Project Canoe, Badger Paddles and I collaborated with my publisher, Firefly Books, to create the “Show me your paddles” giveaway!

Details are on Firefly Books’ Instagram and Facebook pages. Show me your paddles, win some great prizes and help get some youth out on a canoe trip.

How to enter:

Go to Firefly Books Instagram
Post an image of yourself with your paddle(s) and tag @kchappycamper. Make sure to include the hashtag #HappyCamperPaddleGiveaway
Must be following @firefly.books, @kchappycamper AND @badger.paddles on Instagram

The prize pack includes one (1) The Happy Camper Paddle (cherry, custom designed with winner’s preferences, valued at $260.00 CAD) and one (1) copy of each of the following books by Kevin Callan:

Kevin and Firefly Books will choose the winner. Firefly Books will first ship the books to the winner and then pass the contact information of the winner on to Badger Paddles to sort out requirements for crafting prize paddle and shipping details. The paddle will be shipped out a few weeks later.
