Testing Out the AC2A
My partner Tavis and I decided to test out the AC2A on a chilly February evening. We walked along a nature trail to Lost Lake, carrying the portable power station in our duffel bag.
We found a nearby area enveloped in evergreen trees swept with moss and set up our camping chairs. I was delighted to find both USB-C and USB-A ports as well as typical plug-ins on the AC2A. We’d charged the battery pack prior to leaving home, so it was at 100 per cent. Tavis set up the tripod and camera to record our experience while I broke out the thermos of hot chocolate and mini marshmallows.
I wanted to test the unit further, so I also plugged in a heated blanket and used it to cozy up. On its strongest setting, the warmth immediately spread over my legs, a welcome respite after our little walk in the woods. Tavis and I sipped our hot chocolate and warmed up while our phones quickly charged. After twenty-five minutes of continuously using the heated blanket and charging our phones, BLUETTI’s AC2A was only down to 88 per cent.
Why Do You Need a Portable Power Bank?
I despise the intrusive noise of generators at campgrounds. Luckily, these portable power banks are so quiet, you can still hear the rustle of wind in the trees and lilting birdsong in the branches.
