Snowking Winter Festival
This month-long party takes place in a snow castle built on the ice in Yellowknife. The community event features everything from concerts to hockey tournaments, art shows to fireworks and the main event, crowning of the Snowking. (snowking.ca)

Blitz Snowshoe Fun Run
Snowshoers will elbow the tourists out of the way at the Chateau Lake Louise as they race – five and 10 kilometre courses — across the lake and up to Mirror Lake, all under the spectre of Mount Victoria. (snowshoe.blitzevents.ca)

Bowron Lake Reservations Open

Pacific Rim Whale Festival
The end-of-the-road towns of Tofino and Ucluelet lay out the welcome mat for the grey whales returning to the west coast of Canada with a long list of events. Bow-to-Yoho Ski Week
When legendary mountain guide Conrad Kain pioneered the Wapta Traverse, he travelled from Bow Lake in Banff National Park to the Little Yoho Valley in Yoho National Park. Snow to Surf Adventure Relay Race
