March 1 to 31

Snowking Winter Festival

This month-long party takes place in a snow castle built on the ice in Yellowknife. The community event features everything from concerts to hockey tournaments, art shows to fireworks and the main event, crowning of the Snowking. (snowking.ca)

Blitz Snowshoe Fun Run

Snowshoers will elbow the tourists out of the way at the Chateau Lake Louise as they race – five and 10 kilometre courses — across the lake and up to Mirror Lake, all under the spectre of Mount Victoria. (snowshoe.blitzevents.ca)

Bowron Lake Reservations Open
